What has happened this month?

Work hours are increasing which is great as we only moved here just over 2 months ago! And happy to be able to teach the basics of building simple wooden constructions, using equipment and understanding the physics behind a build-project at my new workplace in a brand new subject. Unexpected! A lovely perk of having built your own Tiny House.

Also new this month is that I decided to invest in an online course exploring a possible side-hustle in the area of managing Facebook-advertising for local companies.

Interesting so far and seems like a skill that many/companies don’t have the energy to research in-depth, but can give great results if mastered!

Investments

69% savings rate for September.

As you can see not all has been invested straight away. I would have invested more than the 7.600dkk (1021€) this month but I’m currently researching the possibility of investing in a more complete and simple index rather than the 3 global at the moment plus getting into an index with a sustainability focus. So it didn’t feel right investing it all when a near change is coming.

A slight dip in the portfolio value. No biggies.

Tiny House Update

  • A new part of the build has begun. An entrance for muddy boots and a few coats, so this can be done just outside the front door instead of in the Tiny House. I can already feel there is a bit more time to enjoy the process now compared to this winter building the TH, which is great.
  • Catflap has put in and works like a charm!
  • 1000L rainwater tank is connected and collecting. Exciting.

Updates on the build from start to finish will be shared on the Facebook page.

I hope your savings rate was steady and high this month!
