It’s quite hard to say exactly as there are many variable factors such as building yourself vs. purchasing a tiny house.

what’s the cost of building a tiny house yourself?

Anywhere between 50-350.000 DKK, 6.500 – 47.000 €. The final cost is affected quite a bit by the amount of reused materials, opportunities, contacts and patients collecting materials.

DR1 Program

The national Danish channel DR has in a few tv-programs chosen to focus on Tiny Houses in Denmark and let’s hope they continue to see that there is a growing interest in living on fewer square metres in the future.

There has been an episode on our Tiny house on wheels in the programme ‘Our First House’, plus a different programme on DR1 where part of the story included a couple that now live in a Tiny House sharing the economical positive effects of living tiny. The programme called ‘Stepping out of the Rat Race’.
